Here is a health tip for you! As we age, we may experience joint pain in regions like our knees, hands, wrists, hips, spine, or elbows. This may be a result of degenerative joint diseases and injuries that could require surgery. However, did you know that you can relieve joint pain by simply adjusting your diet and using natural supplements like turmeric? This spice belongs to the ginger family and is frequently added to South Asian dishes including curry. It contains the ingredient curcumin, which helps reduce inflammation. For turmeric to work effectively, it needs to be absorbed with black pepper and fatty oils like olive or avocado oil. You could try incorporating turmeric into your everyday diet for a three- to six-month period to see if it’s beneficial to you, as turmeric supplements are pricey.
