The state of Uttarakhand in India has had a court ruling that says animals have the same legal status as humans. Let’s hope that idea spreads quickly throughout our world! Israel will end the import of live animals for meat by 2021. The Prime Minister of Israel, His Excellency Benjamin Netanyahu said, “We have to really correct the great pain being caused to animals.” Fifty countries have banned the use of animals in circuses, 20 have ended fur farming, and nearly 40 nations have banned, or are planning to ban, animal testing for cosmetics.
