Qatar provides funds to aid Gaza.

Qatar is allocating US$500 million to help rebuild Gaza following recent conflict in the area, with more than 90,000 residents being displaced by the strife. The donation will go to building replacement homes for those that were destroyed and reconstructing service facilities. Earlier this year, a separate contribution by the government of Qatar gifted Gaza US$360 million to pay government employee salaries, buy fuel to run power plants and provide cash grants to indigent families. Qatar is a Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace and Compassion laureate. Many thanks, Qatar, for your loving support. May Allah’s abundant blessings shine forever on your beautiful land and Palestine as well, with peace reigning eternally in the hearts of all.

United Nations report urges global actions to halt worsening soil pollution.

A new report published jointly by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) cautions that increasing soil pollution around the world is threatening food production, public health, and ecosystems. It notes that the main sources of contamination are industrial and mining activities, poor waste management, fossil fuel production, as well as damaging agricultural practices and transport. In particular, the assessment finds that pesticide use increased 75% between 2000 and 2017, and the manufacture of industrial chemicals has doubled since the start of the 21st century. To remediate polluted soil, the paper recommends a rapid shift to sustainable production and consumption as well as the implementation of various initiatives, including a Global Soil Pollution Information and Monitoring System. Our gratefulness, FAO and UNEP. May humanity quickly adopt eco-friendly lifestyles as we restore Mother Earth’s balance, in Divine protection.

Up next, United States researchers create efficient method to turn used plastic into jet fuel. We would like to thank the dermatopathologists for their hard work in investigating skin biopsies to correctly diagnose skin disorders. Vegan= yours is Heaven!

United States university researchers develop efficient method to convert waste plastic into jet fuel.

Washington State University scientists in the United States led by Dr. Hongfei Lin and graduate student Chuhua Jia have transformed polyethylene, the world’s most widely used plastic, into products including jet fuel, diesel and a lubricant. Their method is economical and does not require high temperatures like processes in the past. The technique uses a temperature of 220 degrees Celsius, a catalyst made from ruthenium on carbon and a common solvent and produces a result in just one hour. The next step is to adjust the process to help make the specific product types the market demands. Great news, Dr. Hongfei Lin, Chuhua Jia and co-researchers from Washington State University, on your remarkable innovation. In the love of our planet home, may your creation help provide another viable solution to the world’s growing amount of used plastic.

United Kingdom to embark on massive reforestation program for climate objective.

The UK has announced it will plant 143 million trees per year by 2035 to aid in reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The government seeks to increase the amount of forest on the country’s land from 13 to 20%. The plan will initially involve towns and cities, with 44,000 trees to be planted near hospitals, schools and in disadvantaged areas with the goal of having trees lining every new street. Planting will also occur in rural and areas of natural beauty, and convert one-fifth of current farmland into woodlands. Way to go, United Kingdom, on your ambitious plan to plant hundreds of millions of trees to protect the planet. May your new forests thrive and flourish with life as your benevolent actions bring good fortune to your nation in Heaven’s blessings.

Ninety-four-year young environmental advocate eulogized in India.

Sunderlal Bahuguna, who launched the Chipko or tree “hugging” movement in India, sadly succumbed to COVID on May 21, 2021. Under his guidance, men and women all over India learned that deforestation is closely linked to flooding and landslides and embraced tree hugging to prevent logging. The saintly gentleman fasted to protest the felling of trees and the construction of the Tehri Dam, and in 1983 he walked 4,000 kilometers in the Himalayas to highlight environmental degradation. In 2009, the humble eco-activist was honored with the Padma Vibhushan, the country’s second-highest civilian award. India’s Prime Minister, His Excellency Narendra Modi, a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance laureate, expressed his condolences, saying, “His simplicity and spirit of compassion will never be forgotten.” We offer our humble gratitude to Sunderlal Bahuguna. May his soul forever rest in God’s embrace as his legacy continues to inspire humans worldwide to cherish our beloved planet.

Slovakia implements total ban on wolf hunting.

The central European country of Slovakia has adopted a new law introducing a total ban on the hunting of the grey wolf. Effective June 1, 2021, it is illegal to capture, injure, kill, breed, sell or exchange wolves in the state. The decree followed a campaign by 31 non-profits which gathered over 51,000 signatures in a joint petition to end wolf hunting. Of the approximately 12,000 wolves in Europe, Slovakia is home to some 1,000-1,800 of the now fully protected individuals. Our appreciation, Slovakia, for enacting the year-round protection of the majestic grey wolf. In God’s merciful guidance, may laws shielding animals be further expanded in Slovakia, bringing peace and joy to the nation and beyond.

Let’s “de-stress” ourselves with a joke of the day, “Cross Over.”

A man asks a farmer near a field:

“Hi sir, would it be possible for me to cross your field instead of going around it? I have to catch the 4:23 train.”

“Sure, go right ahead. And if the resident Rottweiler sees you, you’ll even catch the 4:11 one.”

And now we have a heartline from Mirinae in Korea:

Dearest Master and Supreme Master TV Team, I am vegan and practice the Convenient Method of meditation in Korea. Because of his affinity with Master, my father was initiated a long time ago, and naturally, my whole family became vegan and started to practice the Convenient Method of meditation together. I often have dreams. A few years ago, Master appeared in my dream and blessed me. At that time, I was in a very bad condition as I had an incurable disease which even the hospital could not find out why. After I dreamed of Master blessing me, I miraculously met a notable doctor and regained my health. I believe the reason I became healthy again is thanks to the vegan diet that I am following, as I no longer incur killing karma.

In the autumn of 2019, I had a special dream. My whole neighborhood was full of demons in the form of monkeys. Over the terrace, I could see these black monkey demons clinging all over the apartment windows while thumping on them to get into the house. It looked so intimidating that I even felt staying in the house wasn't safe at all. All of my family instinctively fled to the room where my father usually meditates. My father recited the Five Holy Names he learned by heart, and the whole house was filled with light in a moment. And all the evil spirits disappeared in an instant as if they were not there at all. It was such a vivid dream which I thought had a spiritual message, so I kept remembering it. Last year when COVID-19 started to break out all over the world, I could finally understand the meaning of this dream.

Amid COVID-19 sweeping through the world last year (in 2020), I had another dream which was so horrible that on one hand, I am afraid it will happen in the future. In that dream, every road of my neighborhood was filled with coffins of people who died of the plague, supposedly COVID-19. The lives of most people in this area seemed to be in danger. My neighborhood is considered relatively safe as there are only a handful of COVID-19 patients. I believe we benefited from my father's sincere meditation while living here for a long time. And he always keeps Supreme Master TV turned on in his meditation room. Vaccines have been developed and distributed all over the world, and COVID-19 seems to have slowed down a bit, but as long as humanity continues to incur the killing karma, I don't think there can be any relief yet.

I sincerely pray to Almighty God that the whole world will soon become a vegan world, and the Golden Age will come soon so that the lovely animals will no longer suffer and can coexist in harmony with humans. Mirinae from Yongin, Korea

Intuitive Mirinae, Thank you for your heartline. We hope insights such as those you’ve shared will awaken others as to how they can help end COVID-19 and protect themselves by simply being vegan. May the Divine bless you, your loved ones and the hope-filled Korean people with peace and well-being. In Heaven’s Mighty Grace, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master is happy to know of your prayer for the animals and responds: “Blessed Mirinae, may the messages in your dreams, as well as the comfort from watching Supreme Master Television, help you navigate these testing times. I send my Love and appreciation to you, your father, and other family members. Join the World Vegan prayer daily and spread information on the vegan diet. May the Godses support and safeguard you and the community-minded Korean people.”
