The Moroccan African Cultural Centre was created in 2010 by Mr. Christian Adda, Mr. Olivier Sonkeng, and Ms. Odile Bories. Busy and vibrant, the Centre celebrates culture, art, and development, bringing together all the Sub-Saharan communities in Morocco. Services and activities promote the wellbeing, expansion, and growth of African people, their traditions, and cultures. “Our first objective is to enable children, the children of migration, to know their roots, of their country of origin or their parents’. And then to also allow the host country to know the history of its migrants. We are in a host country, the real link, the real wealth, is to know each other. And so, at the Centre, everything we do, we always bring it back to fusion. With the African Cultural Centre being created in Morocco, it allows other cultures to immerse themselves in this culture. And we finally see that there is no true border.” The Moroccan African Cultural Centre also helps people, displaced peoples and migrants, using art to comfort people’s hearts.
