Now I’m more informed than CNN and BBC One. I’m more informed than everybody. Before, I didn’t even know anything; now I know everything. Almost everything. Because I told you I have to search through all the garbage in order to find something for Supreme Master TV, for the positive news. And it gives me sometimes a real headache. But if I assign it to somebody else to do, sometimes they don’t know which news to pick.

I don’t really know. Maybe we could let some of them try, or all of them try, or... I really want to take all of the ones that gave me the cards. Really, I was overwhelmed! I was thinking, “Oh, why not?” But then I said, “Uh-oh, no! You’d better think about it a little bit.” Number one, I don’t have that much room, blah, blah, blah... (I think if we’re going to recommend them, we need to keep an eye on them.) Keep an eye on them for me, please! I will update you. OK? (Thank You, Master.) “Please scold that one for me!”

And you? Are you OK? Why do you want to come and stay? You didn’t say anything. They didn’t quiz you yet. (Well, Master, it all started when I was 16 years old. That was 1999, the seminar in [the] UK.) How old are you now? (I’m 24.) OK. Oh, so young! Like your age, almost. (At that time, I [had] already decided to go to be a resident. But I was thinking like, “Well, you’re still young. There are a lot of temptations, you will meet them on your way.” So I was thinking: “If I go now, and in one year I turn back on You, it will make You unhappy.” So I said, “OK, wait. You go through all the process.”) Grow up first. (Grow up first, yes.) So, you’re sure now? (Yes, I feel that it’s the right time.)

Forgot to ask your sign, everyone! OK, OK, this [one] I know. Your sign, I know. Well, you’re a Tiger? (Rabbit.) Rabbit! And you? What’s your sign, Chinese sign? Don’t know? What is your Sri Lankan sign? (I was born in 1969.) Sixty-nine. What month? (Rooster.) (February.) Is that Rooster? (Rooster.) Rooster, yeah? Same? So, three Roosters around here! (A duck and no Chickens!) A Chicken! Quack! I have a lot of duck-people at home already. I mean, wild duck-people. And now they come, wild chickens! I also have some wild chicken-people, you know, they call them moorhens. And now they have a lot of chick(-people) running around already. No, they don’t come into my yard, these chick(-people). They just stay on the lake or around the bushes and all that. Yeah? (Tiger, Master.) Tiger, I know. And then you? (Pig.) Pig. And you? The other one. You? (Dragon.) Dragon. Tiger? (Tiger.) OK. Anyone else we forgot? And this girl, what was she? (I think she was a Dragon.) Dragon, a Water Dragon! She even said Water Dragon. A lot of Chickens and a lot of Dragons. A couple of Tigers.

Yes, love? Just leave it on. Yes. (Master, if you’d like to test their sense of humor,) OK. (I’ve got some jokes here, and perhaps each one of them would like to read one out.) But if they read it, they would not laugh. (Well, if we laugh, then…) Then we laugh at the joke but not at them. (May I pass them forward, please,) OK. (for You to have a look at?) You can read it. (There’s only one which is slightly…) Check it out, check it out. Maybe [I] already have. (Pass this forward to Master.) I have to check it out whether I know the joke or not. Because if you read… (There’s only one that is slightly…) Only one? (…slightly not OK.) Do you want to do what he says? Read the jokes? What, love? (There’s one joke that’s not OK for children.) OK, OK, the rest is OK? (I put a cross on it.) OK. Maybe not now. (No. They’re all very clean.) Later on. Maybe later on.

I’m getting so sweaty after all of this quizzing, all of this reality TV show. (Yes.) But don’t worry about that Big Brother stuff. You know those people, they deliberately put them together in one house – and not to go out anywhere at all. They have to stay in there day and night together, is that right? Like prisoners, practically! And under surveillance all the time; they know that. They give you pressure. You’re not yourself. And if you’re kept in check too long, you explode. You want to keep up your good manners too long, and you’re not natural. Yes?

(They’re not day-to-day people. They are actors, Master.) They’re actors? (Yes – not all of them, but maybe 50 percent because they’re always auditioning for people to go in there.) Fifty percent actors. Like the one who won, the Indian, she’s an actress too – already famous in there. So, what is the point? (It’s to... it’s just to make some silly show, I guess.) Just to make a show. Just to see how good actors and actresses act. Because the ones who [fought] with each other, they both are famous actually! The last ones that [fought] with each other, (I don’t watch, Master.) the girl – it’s all over, everywhere! I would never know it until I had to search or research all the news and all that for Supreme Master TV.

Oh dear, I don’t know what to do. Let’s go eat again, and then... maybe the food will help to bless us.

Anything else? If not, we’re free. Go eat. It’s 6 o’clock. Eat. Happy? Not really? But go eat. And some have to go? Some of you have to go, no? Oh dear. Oh dear, life is complicated, I think; me thinks. (Sit down; let Master go first.) I turn this off, so you turn there off, too. Oh, my God. You’d still like to come? (Yes.) Any of you? (Yes.) Yes? What is that? What about you? (Yes, Master.) We’ll see. What? Umbrella again. Where are my shoes? They get my shoes? Oh my. It’s very small, but very…

Let’s go and breathe some fresh air. You can go swimming or walk around, no problem. Retreat’s over; you’re a free man. But you meditate when you want. Just don’t disturb others by coming late or people already meditate. You can come late because it’s over, but just don’t walk too noisily just because the retreat’s over. Because somebody will be meditating; it’s freestyle now. OK, guys. That’s mine? No. Maybe… Dear God, just 11 people and so much talk and work already – before they even start anything.

Well, you know what? It’s very important for me also that some people come. And then I say yes or no because that will be my area. Once you come in, I would like you to stay. Otherwise, you go out and then… I don’t know what. And maybe you tell everybody. It’s no good, is it? It’s a very respectful, restful and private area for me to repose after any work or anything like that. So, it’s no good if anybody goes in there to mess it up. And then even expect me to scold and all that. My God! What kind of life do you want to give me? I don’t want to go back to my house and scold you. I don’t want you to come into my house so that I can scold you or work on you. Jesus Christ! What kind of help? You want to serve Master.

What kind of life do you imagine if you have to scold somebody so often or every day? Especially so many people, and everybody expects it. What kind of life do you think I’d have? Can you imagine that? Can you imagine if you live with somebody and have to scold them every day? (Very importantly, you don’t have to, but...) I don’t want to. That’s why I’m asking for somebody who I don’t have to scold. (Yes.) Because if I scold too much, I’ll get tired. (Yes.) I want somebody that I don’t have to scold. Please, do you get the point? (Yes.)

(Master, if they practiced loving kindness toward each other –) Yes. (that should then create a loving atmosphere.) How do you practice loving kindness toward each other? (Give, give in every way,) How? (treating each other with love and respect, and rising above the personality,) Yes. (the human personality, and realizing that each of them is Master.) Your Guru speaking? (If You have to scold them, that in the scolding, there’s a huge lesson, if they can get it.) But I don’t want to scold them. (I know.) I don’t want to give them any lessons. I don’t want to live in a school 24 hours a day with students. (So, loving kindness all the way.) (But Master’s problem is that it’s not a retreat. She lives there.) It’s not a retreat there; I live there. (She doesn’t want to go back to that every day.) Yes. (Yes. That’s really…) No, I’d rather have a retreat than just a few people who bug me every day. (Yes.)

Because in retreat, everybody meditates, and we come and have a good time. (Yes.) But in my home, it can be very concentrated, all that energy and their expectations of me. Like they expect to be special. Every day, I have to pay attention to them or even at least scold them. Attention, no matter negative or positive, and this is really tiring; you have no idea. I don’t want to. That’s why it’s very scary for me also. You don’t think it’s scary? It is scary because, over these years, I’ve already been doing that; I’m really exhausted. I’d rather have a retreat every day like this with you. What I mean is I’m working again, but in my home, it can be worse. Retreat is fine. We didn’t have much problem, did we? I only beat some of the guys up, but very little, no? (That’s a bit deserved.) Yeah, nothing really. And you have (vegan) cakes, at least to make up for it. You don’t know, very scary, people. (Thank You, Master.) (We love You.) Very scary. I’m still scared now. Yes.

(Too many questions.) It’s not only that but maybe… Yeah. (The attitude has to be right.) And the question also. Maybe the question has put me off now. What? (Questions raise questions.) You mean your question? That put me off? (No, they raised more questions.) (They raised more questions.) You should raise more questions? (It does.) (No, no. After asking questions, good questions come out.) So, what does that mean? (Then You would not be as sick as You were. Master will take it easy; just see what happens.) Oh, take it easy. (Now it’s phasing out.)

I can’t risk it. Because once they’re in my house, they’re already in my house. (Yes, that’s true.) And then they will know everything, where I live and what I do already. I have to be able to trust these people and that they stay. It’s not like an adventure or like investments. You invest and then see if you win or you lose. It’s all so very difficult, I’m telling you. Because the conceptions of humans are very strange sometimes. This is cold, but this is hot, also. So… it is like that. That’s a good point here and a bad point there. It’s like canceling out each other. Let’s go eat, oh God!
