The heart of the Zen Master gently soars, all troubles abandoned, all sorrows cease to exist; thus, the body, heart, and mind are truly boundless. “Our body is a fertile land Our heart is the pure water in the Ganges expanse Our love is a delicate rose Our thoughts, an entire field of spirituality.”
“Coming by the temple: saw the sky azure Each page of the Diamond Sutra chanted with sincerity Smoke and incense intertwined, a dreamy vision The universe, a golden cassock draped on the self. The temple of the past now free of life’s dust The Diamond Sutra ended all upheavals and suffering From birth and death, I’ve come here for a visit Sitting at the mountain summit, smiling with the moon.
Our body is a fertile land Our heart is the pure water in the Ganges expanse Our love is a delicate rose Our thoughts, an entire field of spiritual prose. The Diamond Sutra is no more The temple vanishes and we’re speechless Sunrise comes, overturning the sunset The ancient soul awakened just by a sound.”
The world is but an inn where we sojourn for a little while; let us quicken to a place of eternal peace within our soul, in the loving embrace of our Merciful Father and Benevolent Mother. “Go go go, go to the Father Go go go, go to the Far Land Go go go, go to the Brother Go go go, go Home together...” Our true home is Heaven, a realm of everlasting harmony.
“This song is called ‘Go! Go! Go!’ We can sing devotional songs to God and at the same time enjoy ourselves. God is not so miserable and artless. OK? So, we can practice meditation and enjoy our lives at the same time. Is that OK? (Yes!)”
“Go! Go! Go! Go to the Future (You can dance even.) Go! Go! Go! Go to Shangri-La Go! Go! Go! Go to the Future Go! Go! Go! Above the stars Oh, Glory! Peace and Harmony Oh, Glory! Wish-fulfilling Muni Oh, Glory! The Great Wise Brothers Oh, Glory! The Home of Masters Hail! Hail! Hail! (Together, we go to a place Oh, hail the Heroes that is further than the planets, Hail! Hail! Hail! higher than the stars.) Oh, hail the Angels Go! Go! Go! Go to the Father Go! Go! Go! Go to the Far Land Go! Go! Go! Go to the Brothers Go! Go! Go! Go Home together (I wrote this for you to dance to This song I wrote so that you can dance in God.)”
In this life on Earth, even just for one day, let’s love each other, because if we’re aloof and look at each other as strangers, when we no longer have each other, we will feel much regret and sorrow. If we love each other, the world will no longer be a place of sorrow, and human beings will be glorified, for they now know how to love and share happiness.
“You and I, one identical life: Let’s embrace and share all the joys, Uplifting ourselves in times of need Sailing together through bitter and sweet.
If you, brother, just pass me by Not even once make contact our eyes Tomorrow we might from this world depart Both will feel reluctant – the hour of goodbye.
Regretting not to weave acquaintance Regretting not to embroider greetings Regretting sister’s beautiful garden Has locked gate and high fence
And you might wither Footprints – dust cover. Alone to town I will go Watching life fade without you!
Let’s love each other! The spring sends flowers The trees bear green gifts Oh marvel planet!
Night sky glistens Day’s first light dazzling Birds chorus at dawn Cicadas greet summer’s arrival.
Immense seas and rivers Forests adorned in lemony flowers Azure crystal sky Land reaches far and wide.
Let’s love each other The rainy season fresh and cooling River water sweet nectar Nourishing love amongst human beings.
Life will be more cheery each day For love is complete and perfect The love of Earth and Heaven The love of humans.
Let’s live just for each other Let’s live on for our future Let’s build Eden on Earth Let’s gift peace to each other.
Then people will cease to sorrow Then love will brighten the world In a thousand places angels will dance Glory be Heaven and man!
My inner Heaven: Offered to this realm.”
“Hallo, Buddha, why do You cry? In Your stone heart, how much desire? Why do Your tears stream down the sea? Why give Your love to the pebble? Oh Buddha, oh Buddha, Why did You leave Nirvana? What is here to search for? Endless pain or sorrow? Oh Buddha, oh Buddha, Hurry now, leave Samsara! Back to where no sorrow Only joy eternal Only love, no border.
Hallo Buddha, Why do You smile? And Your stone heart is full of Light! Why do Your arms embrace the world? Why does Your Love shine forever? Oh Buddha, oh Buddha, Oh Buddha, oh Buddha”
