First, we’ll look at the powerful impact of green trends and climate-friendly policies in Valencia, Spain. The city has been awarded the title of European Green Capital 2024 for its achievements in sustainable tourism, climate neutrality, and a fair, inclusive green transition. Valencia has approved the Valencia 2030 Climate Mission, which aims to decarbonize the city and reduce CO2 emissions to become climate-neutral. Valencia has also launched the Neighborhood and Food Programme, which promotes healthier, sustainable, and inclusive food production and consumption, social cohesion, and local development.

The United States utilities are blazing toward 100% renewable electricity by 2060, with technological advancements and cost reductions fueling this trend. The current US administration has rejoined the Paris Agreement and set a goal of reducing net greenhouse gas emissions by 50-52% by 2030 compared to 2005. The United States has also launched the Global Methane Pledge, which aims to reduce global methane emissions by at least 30% by 2030. The United States of America has witnessed a surge in climate activism and engagement among members of the younger generation, who are more inclined to participate in rallies, contact elected officials, and use social media platforms to raise awareness about climate issues.

Launched in 2021 by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, SGI and MGI are whole-society initiatives. They focus on emissions reduction, afforestation, and land and sea protection, thus uniting all sustainability efforts in the country to scale up the Kingdom’s climate action program. The Circular Carbon Economy Framework: This approach seeks to manage and reduce the country's carbon footprint by capturing, using, and storing carbon dioxide and promoting clean energy sources.

After exploring Saudi Arabia, we're excited to go to our next destination, Italy, which embraces solar energy with a sunny disposition, investing significantly in photovoltaic panel production. The country is making major strides in the renewable energy sector, particularly in the area of solar energy. The 3Sun plant, located in Catania, Sicily, is set to become the largest solar factory in Europe. It combines research and innovation to produce high-performance bifacial photovoltaic modules, capturing sunlight from both sides. Its innovative technology makes 3Sun the world’s most automated photovoltaic panel production plant, operating seamlessly on a continuous cycle — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

As we conclude today’s show, it’s clear that the power of green trends and climate-friendly policies is being harnessed around the world. These examples show that we can transition to a green economy that benefits all with the right policies and investments. They also highlight the importance of collaboration between governments, the private sector, and individuals in achieving these goals.
