I hope you are able to find organic fruits and vegetables to eat on your vegan diet. Sometimes, however, we are unable to, and for some items it is valuable to remove the skin to minimize pesticide consumption. Today, I'd like to offer a tip on how you can remove tomato skins. The key is to apply some heat to the skin for a short period of time to separate it from the flesh. First use a knife to cut a cross on the top of the tomato. Place the tomato in a bowl of hot water for 30 seconds. Remove and peel immediately once cool enough to hold. Alternatively, you can mount the tomato on a fork or wooden chopstick and hold over a gas flame to sear the skin. Once the skin starts to separate, you can remove the tomato from the flame and carefully peel by hand.

Irma was showing her kids her old rotary phone when her nine-year-old asked:
“How did you text on it?”

“Wait, where did you store your contacts?”
