In today’s news, Japan extends aid to United Nations Children’s Fund to support relief efforts for flood victims in Libya and Somalia, Sun emits strongest X-class solar flare in seven years with fortunately no damage to infrastructure on Earth, scientists pinpoint fungus causing cassava crops to fail in Southeast Asia, ambulances in New South Wales, Australia pilot device to help first responders diagnose stroke in 60 seconds, British mayor removes animal-people meat from dinners for councilors to help address climate change, Canadian non-profit announces investment to boost development of specialized oat and pulse ingredients for new plant-based snack and food options, and critically endangered softshell turtle found nesting in India for first time.
Making a better world by staying positive is a habit we can all build, so let’s start today. You can encourage a positive growth mindset in your child by following these steps. Praise children for the effort they put into a task and not only the outcome. This will give them a feeling of accomplishment from the discipline of putting in the work. When teaching them how to do something new, keep a positive attitude and patiently demonstrate the learning process, such as practicing a new skill a few times slowly, reading instructions fully before starting, or by watching a how-to video. As a result, your child will be more likely to model the same behaviors in the future when they encounter a challenge. Lastly, children naturally love to learn, so remember to just be willing to be there to teach them. When they’re old enough you can also explain to them the science behind how our brains are adaptable and grow when we learn something new or practice a skill. This will be fascinating to them and will help encourage them to learn new things and develop their minds.
There are many ways to make you laugh, and the joke of the day is one of them. Here it comes! This one’s entitled “Clear Mind.”
A new student joins a meditation class and, at the end, proudly tells the instructor:
“I cleared my mind completely during the session!”
The instructor smiles skeptically.
“Oh, really? What was it like?”
The newbie shrugs.
“I don't remember; it was blank.”
!?
And now we have a heartline from Alessia in Lima, Peru:
Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai and Supreme Master Television team, I would like to share with you a summary of the three screenings of the musical that we, the brothers and sisters from Lima center, have made here in Lima, Peru. There were two small ones in our meditation center, and a larger one in a club in the city of Lima. Souls were reached with these screenings and they were given three of Master’s books, Alternative Living flyers, the biography of Supreme Master Ching Hai, and information on the Quan Yin Method of meditation, as well as Supreme Master TV cards.
Some people showed interest in wanting to learn how to prepare vegan food, and others showed more interest in spiritual practice. We received beautiful comments about the musical through the means of communication we used to carry out this event. The fraternal work felt connected by the thread of love between the brothers and sisters who were present. We could feel that people felt welcomed and very comfortable. They tasted the vegan food and showed interest in changing their diet, wanting to learn how to prepare it.
The night before, Master appeared in my vision thus giving me the feeling of the energy of Blessing and Love throughout the day of the musical’s screening. I give thanks for the Blessings and wish that more people can benefit from this atmosphere of Love, and feel inspired to make that change in their diets. With lots of love, and may God Almighty always protect Master! Alessia from Lima, Peru
High-spirited Alessia, Our appreciation for your heartline. A big hand to you and your joyous team for the wonderful work that you do. Those who attended the event are fortunate to receive the bountiful Blessings from Master’s overflowing Love. May you and the spiritual Peruvians continue to cherish the precious bond with God, Supreme Master TV team
P.S. Master has an encouraging reply for you: “Kind Alessia and team, looks like the attendees enjoyed the musicals and had a scrumptious vegan feast. It is good news that more people are starting to make a connection with the compassionate way of living. Let us all do our best to expand this positive circle. May you and the invigorating land of Peru be nurtured with everlasting wisdom from the Divine. Sending you all a loving embrace.”
