Nam Sa-go recognized that the different religions shared the same true teaching. When we receive the true teaching of enlightenment from a realized Master, we become victorious over all our troubles, our fear of death, our binding desires, etc. Nam Sa-go’s “Gyeogamyurok” presents two intriguing symbols for Sipseung, the true universal teaching. These two ancient universal symbols, the cross and swastika, remind us how Christianity and Buddhism are two great religions (among others) whose doctrines Supreme Master Ching Hai widely cites in Her lectures. “Make haste. Come to safe haven, a celestial land of eternal youth and immortality. THE ISLAND OF PURPLE (HEAVENLY) LIGHT IN THE SOUTH CHINA SEA IS WHERE THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD FIND RELIEF.”
