In 2020, our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) presented the Shining World Courage-Compassion Award to Direct Action Everywhere with a humble contribution of US$20,000 to support its ongoing endeavors. It’s about time that we start addressing the important issue of what’s happening to animals in court because court is the place where our society as a whole addresses its most important disputes.
