In today’s news, Tonga receives more assistance from USAID after volcanic eruption and tsunami, United Kingdom research finds possible lung damage in long COVID patients, citizens of Switzerland vote to prohibit nearly all tobacco ads, up to 100 million mangroves to be planted in Mozambique, accountant in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, gives disadvantaged children free rides to school, United States study ranks states in terms of veganism’s popularity, and man in Hungary takes photos of rare white deer-person.

United States provides additional humanitarian aid to Tonga after natural disasters.

Tonga received US$2.5 million in relief assistance from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) following a volcanic eruption and tsunami on January 15, 2022. The events caused major damage to Tonga’s islands in the South Pacific. Because USAID has been helping Tongan communities to prepare for natural disasters for several years, the locals were able to obtain first aid and hygiene kits from designated areas around the island that were distributed by USAID partners, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the Tonga Red Cross Society. Water, food, other relief supplies and emergency telecommunications support were also delivered by the partners to affected islands and remote communities, addressing the needs of the victims. The United States is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance, seven Shining World Leadership Awards for Promoting Healthy Living, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governor, Justice, Protection, and Environmental Protection; and a laureate of 24 Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Loving Care, a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance, a Shining World Peace Leader Award, Shining World Caring Leadership Award, and Shining World Super Loving Care Leadership Award. Bravo, USAID and partners, for your generosity and quick emergency response. May the resilient people of Tonga soon recover and resume their normal lives, in God’s loving Protection.

New research from United Kingdom discovers possible lung damage in long COVID patients.

Researchers recently used a unique method developed by Professor Jim Wild and team from the University of Sheffield to view lung issues in people who had a COVID-19 infection in the past. Previously, they could not detect any abnormalities using computerized tomography (CT) scans in patients with shortness of breath after becoming ill with COVID-19. However, the new technique utilizes inhaled xenon gas to visualize how well oxygen is absorbed during a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan. It was found that most people who had long COVID, as well as those without the condition but were previously hospitalized for the virus, apparently had damaged lungs that were not fully transferring oxygen to the bloodstream. The study has not yet been peer-reviewed. Thank you, Professor Jim Wild and all involved, for this investigation. In the wisdom of the Providence, may all so-affected-patients quickly heal and enjoy good health. Vegan: way 2 b a true human.

Up next, citizens of Switzerland vote to prohibit nearly all tobacco ads. We are going to take a little time to thank the cleaning crew for keeping the lounge area and lunchroom clean for all users to enjoy, eat in comfort and relax. We’ll be right back with more illuminating news on Supreme Master Television.

Hallo, brilliant viewers, I am Leon, a vegan duke from the Lesser Kudu kingdom! Radiant are our days when we turn towards the benevolent principle of life. Only the merciful vegan way brings us towards a kind world. Today, I have a tip on password security. Hackers and scammers are rampant, particularly during these unprecedented times. Make sure you get in the habit of using secure passwords to avoid online threats. Please follow a website’s password requirements to create a secure one. Usually, 8 characters or more are required, with a mixture of capital and lowercase letters, at least one number and a special character. The more characters you use, the stronger the password. Weak passwords are ones that are short and can easily be guessed; these put you at risk of getting hacked. Please don’t use the same password for multiple websites as a single website breach could expose your login details for the other websites. In turn, important personal information could be revealed, including your credit card number and bank details. There are a number of password manager apps with encryption that allow you to safely store your passwords. Follow these simple steps to protect your information and put yourself at ease. Thank you for watching, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world!

Swiss citizens vote to ban almost all tobacco advertising.

Switzerland recently held a referendum on outlawing almost all tobacco advertising, and nearly 57% of the people supported it, along with 16 out of the 26 cantons, or member states of the Swiss Confederation. Under the law, all advertisements will be prohibited in any place a young person might see them. The legislation may come into effect next year, as part of a law that sets 18 as the minimum age nationwide for buying tobacco products. Currently, one can be as young as 16 to purchase tobacco in some cantons. Around 27% of all Swiss adults engage in the detrimental habit, with approximately 9,500 tobacco-linked deaths annually. Great news, Switzerland, on your wise decision to further safeguard your nation’s young people from tobacco. In Celestial love, may all poisons, including meat and alcohol, soon be banned, as we protect one another and purify ourselves within.

Extensive mangrove planting project to take place in Mozambique.

A large-scale mangrove reforestation initiative will cover 185,000 hectares in the provinces of Sofala and Zambezia. The endeavor will be undertaken by the nation’s government in collaboration with United Arab Emirates-based Blue Forest, which specializes in mangrove reforestation. The 30-year partnership will see between 50 to 100 million trees grown that will absorb around 200,000 metric tons of CO2 per year, which is like taking 50,000 cars off the road. Satellite imaging and other high tech tools will be used to determine where to reforest. Non-governmental organizations along with public and private institutions will also join the project with funds coming from carbon credits, the tree planting and other environmental preservation activities will generate. Our admiration, Mozambique and Blue Forest, for your major initiative to reforest the land. In the grace of Heaven, may more such endeavors take place worldwide, as we replant the Earth with life-giving trees.

Kind person in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, gives children living in difficult situations free transportation to school.

Over the last nine years, rain or shine, Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hải, a 37-year-old woman from Quảng Nam province, in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), has voluntarily shuttled disadvantaged students to school every day free-of-charge on her motorbike. Not only does she deliver the children safely, but also works as an accountant at the primary school. She explained that in previous difficult times her father and aunts could not go to school, so now she has empathy for these children facing challenging situations and also campaigns for money to feed the underprivileged young ones each month. We would like to express our gratitude, Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hải, for your loving kindness. May Buddha bless your noble deeds for bringing warmhearted care to precious children. Go ahead n make war: u will win a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot, a multiple lot of hellfire.

Coming up, United States study ranks states in terms of veganism’s popularity. Let’s take a moment to be thankful that we have the spiritual wisdom to discern between right and wrong. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more beautiful news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Lucky News for a Bountiful World.

Study in United States reveals which states are the most vegan.

Researchers focused on four different categories: vegan population per capita as well as the number of vegan restaurants, vegan meetup groups and animal welfare groups. All 50 states were ranked, and the top of the list was Nevada, followed by California, Oregon, Hawaii, New York and New Jersey. The state with the highest number of vegans per capita was Nevada, and the place with the most animal welfare groups was Delaware, which had almost double the number of these entities per capita as second-ranked South Dakota. Way to go, United States, on the widespread veganism within your country. In the radiance of the Divine, may your nation soon become fully plant-based, as compassionate living becomes the choice of all.

Hungarian man takes photos of rare white deer-person.

Gábor Pozsik recently shared photos on Facebook of a rare white deer-person, that has been named the Nógrád Wonder Deer, that he saw in Nógrád County, Hungary, as well as an unusual dark brown deer-person. The duo were spotted near Bátonyterenye, but their exact location remains a secret to ensure their protection. Mr. Pozsik has also posted many other photos of the beautiful Hungarian landscape. Our appreciation, Gábor Pozsik, for sharing the awesome pictures of the majestic deer-people, and also for keeping their specific whereabouts confidential. In God’s infinite Compassion, may we always respect and cherish the people from the animal kingdom, as they bless us with their pure love and beauty.

There is a great probability that you’re going to chuckle when you hear the following joke we have chosen. Let’s give it a try. It’s called, “On Vacation.”

Two brothers were lounging by the pool when one asks the other:

“Cam, what’s brown, hairy and wears sunglasses?”

“What?”

“A coconut on vacation!”

And now we have a heartline from Sadhvi in Nepal:

Praising our Master! Master! The wonderful feeling You have given to us, the disciples, that You are with us every moment, is so magnificent and thrilling. Uplifting and recharging this whole planet through Your boundless Love, shifting its energy to higher dimensions, You give hope to those in despair and provide all sorts of support to the helpless creatures who have been tortured by the various sufferings in this world. Even the entire dictionaries in this world lack the appropriate words to express our gratitude towards You, our Beloved Guru, for blessing us with Supreme Master Television. The least I can do is to offer a million times of my gratitude at Your feet. I’d also like to thank all my fellow brothers and sisters with all my heart for showing such love, dedication and sincerity towards Master and working for Supreme Master Television.

Master! You once mentioned that after initiation, we enter the Golden Age, which is the age of truth and joy where petty sorrows and pains cannot stand in front of us. These days, I am going through similar experiences. Apart from God, if there is anyone in this world who loves us unconditionally, it is our parents. On top of that, we are deeply connected with our mother physically, mentally and emotionally. Ever since I was a child, I used to think, “Oh! If something happened to my mother, I would probably die from pain, because I love her so much.” My mother was ill and has now passed away. Master, if it wasn’t for Your teachings and Wisdom, I would have been emotionally devastated.

One thing I remember You saying is that those who suffer a lot when they leave their bodies, they go through this purification so that they could reach higher dimensions. Death is the salvation of the soul; it should be celebrated as joy, not sorrow. When I remember these things, my mind becomes very calm and assured.

Master! I have no words to express my gratitude towards You for protecting me under the shade of Your Love, for enabling me to carry out all the worldly affairs with Your Love and Light. And so, I would like to offer this poem in the form of my heartfelt thanks at Your feet, through which I wish You all the best for Your World Vegan, World Peace campaign.

Praise be the Guru forever Praise be the Lord of my heart forever By receiving Your Light and Wisdom, This darkness of ignorance will be gone forever May harmony between the people increase And love between all beings grow. The ripples coming out of Your consciousness transcend all these worldly ties This World Vegan Campaign of Yours May it always continue expanding higher With the help of Omnipotent God, And accompanied by the Ihôs Kih Godses. May the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas from all directions, 33 crore (330 million) Gods, Divine Saints, invisible Angels, the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the animal-people, bird-people and trees of this whole world contribute to this campaign. Be it epidemic, pain, or crisis May people be freed from all these sufferings, Equipped with seeds of happiness and peace May this Earth become Eden again Amen, thank You! Sadhvi from Nepal

Elegant Sadhvi, Your composition for our Master is eloquently written. May Divine Love comfort you, your mother, and the devoted Nepalese people.

Master offers these caring words of support to you: “Beautiful Sadhvi, my heart goes out to you and your family as I read of your mother’s passing. Be assured that her soul is resting blissfully in the Heavenly abode. I am glad that your spiritual practice brings you solace at this sad time and thank you for the heartfelt poem. Your noble light shines brightly, a beacon for others, and your mother. I embrace you with much Love and may you and your kind co-citizens of Nepal be blessed by Buddha’s eternal Grace.”

“On the surface it may seem that wars are caused by economic and political questions, but in fact they are caused by our wholesale slaughter of animals. The laws of justice are inexorable, and human beings are going to have to pay with their own blood [...].” ~ Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov (vegetarian)
