Ladies and gentlemen, let’s enjoy the last performance of our program – the traditional Aulacese (Vietnamese) dances: “Loving Moon” and “Revolving Lantern,” performed by our Association members from Âu Lạc (Vietnam).“(Mr. Principal, in the conference just now, a lot of the content was about environmental protection. A big portion of it touched on the impact and harm caused by the livestock industry. I wonder if you have any thoughts after listening to the conference that you would like to share with us.) Actually, today, in Hong Kong and globally, we all have to educate the next generation on environmental protection awareness, especially regarding the impact of meat consumption on environmental pollution. We need to further educate our next generation to understand the importance of conservation and environmental protection. (In the conference just now, Supreme Master Ching Hai also talked about that. What are your thoughts or reflections on what Supreme Master Ching Hai shared with us?) What I saw was that Supreme Master Ching Hai has an extremely broad and pioneering perspective in leading environmental protection and inspiring humanity. (The conference mentioned that veganism is the solution to global warming and reducing carbon dioxide emissions. After listening to this conference, do you have any new perspectives for your future lifestyle or attitude toward life?) As an educator, I agree that in everything we do, we must balance all aspects in order to create a model of a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, this must be taught to our next generation and our students, so that they know what a healthy lifestyle is like. While they learn how to distinguish right from wrong, they also must learn to make choices, especially for a healthy life, both mentally and physically.”“Before, people around me and I were simply familiar with the slogan, ‘Be Veg, Go Green, Save the Planet.’ We said it all the time, yet didn’t seem to know exactly what the idea of saving the planet was about. And today, we got to know more clearly that the idea of saving the planet is hoping that people can find their own compassionate heart and their own Buddha Nature again.”“I’m an animal communicator, and I’ve been living and working in Hong Kong for 32 years. My main job is talking to animals and understanding their feelings, and making people understand that animals have feelings.”
