It is said that Nam Sa-go's book of prophecies “Gyeogamyurok,” now 500-years-old, was kept a secret, handed down only within the prophet’s family members. It was only to be revealed in the “last days,” a time of turbulence preceding the Golden Age as mentioned in many ancient religions and cultures. Nearing the mid-20th century, the descendants felt the time was ripe. Thus, the special book became known to the world when it would be the most beneficial – that is, when the Savior was finally coming. The prophet thus called the Savior “the Sage-King of the last days.”
