In today’s news, World Food Programme supports families affected by cyclone in Philippines, climate report says more of Earth becoming increasingly uninhabitable, province of Alberta, Canada leads way in developing lifesaving wildlife corridors, Japanese scientists find sustainable way to improve wastewater treatment, astronauts touch down in United States after prolonged stay at International Space Station, brand’s popular cheese launches vegan version in Britain, and sympathetic locals in Hawaii, United States, go extra mile to rescue helpless goat kid trapped on cliff.

With the season changing and celebrations coming for many people across the globe, I’d like to offer a little tip you. If you are putting up decorations around the house, you want to avoid damage to your window frames, doors, or walls from drilling holes, or using glues or adhesive tape on painted surfaces. This holiday season, swap these for removable self-adhesive or suction cup hooks. Be sure to clean the surface first so they will adhere better. You can also use ribbons or string to hang decorations from your window curtain rod. For hanging outside decorations, source shingle clips or gutter hooks. Also, check that your outside decorations such as lights, ornaments and extension cords are designed for outdoor use since weather elements could damage them or even start a fire or electrical failure.

Guess what? It’s guffaw time! This one’s entitled “Husband Always Agrees for Peace.”

A wife was thinking all day. Her mind was racing about whether her husband would agree to buy her an expensive new car. The husband noticed that his wife was acting a bit peculiar and guessed she wanted to ask his permission about something he’d dislike. However, he said nothing because he always just agreed to everything to avoid long, heated arguments. They both sit down in the evening to talk.

“You know what, honey, I think you are right.”

“But, I haven’t said anything yet.”

“Well, I am just trying to save time.”
