Preheat your oven to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit). Peel three ripe bananas and place them in a measuring jug along with 75 grams of vegetable oil. Add one teaspoon of vanilla essence to this and use a potato masher or fork to gently mash them together until fully mixed. In a mixing bowl, combine 225 grams of flour, two teaspoons of baking powder, and 100 grams of light brown soft sugar. Gently stir the dry ingredients into the wet mix until an even batter is formed. Pour the batter evenly into a lined loaf tin. For a finishing touch, place a halved banana lengthways on top.
