Next, we will present a poem to Master on behalf of all disciples, conveying our gratitude and well-wishes on this Moon Festival. Upon the sky where the moonlight weaves, On the pond prospers the lotus leaves. The shiny Luna reflects our heart, Which is reminiscent of Master far apart. We wish Master’s health and all the best, With this note of love on this Moon Fest. Just as wanderers in need of a companion, This autumn with Master we have a reunion. The spiritual growth enriches our wisdom, So joyful are we in this New Kingdom. In Heaven and on Earth, long accompanied by Master, Infinite happiness grows, as we cluster together. Such beautiful poetic verses conveying the love in our hearts to You! Next, we will take everyone to the beautiful mountainous area of central Âu Lạc (Vietnam). The full moon of August has arrived, another festive season has begun in the highlands. The sons and daughters of the mountain area are dancing joyfully under the sacred moonlight to express their gratitude to the gentle moon, and also to deepen the bond of affection among the Ê Đê people. Let’s enjoy a brilliant performance “Moon on the Mountains” by Aulacese (Vietnamese) initiates. I remember when I was young, looking up to the night sky, I always found the moon following me wherever I went. Growing up and looking up, the moon still follows me to the ends of the world and comforts this wanderer’s heart with love and grace in the night. The next solo song on stage is called “Home” and is performed by our New Zealand brother, praying for the tired wanderers to return home swiftly that our true hearts so desire. Wow! It’s really touching. Take me Home. We can’t help but thank Master for taking us Home real soon. Now, we will visit China. A chicken mom is taking her young chicks to visit their grandparents. The whole family of their caretakers are vegans! Happily together they enjoy moon cakes. Together we pray that World Vegan, World Peace will be. Animals and humans shall be friends forever. Let’s give a big hand to our performers from China. “Dedication of Love.” Having enjoyed this performance from China, we’ll return to Formosa (Taiwan). “Circular Fans Dance with the Full Moon” performed by Chiayi center. The music and lyrics are based on a 3000-year-old poem: “Picking Wild Vegetables” It depicts soldiers craving to go home and yearning for peace. Let’s pray that the world will have peace and families will have happy reunions like the full moon. May all families enjoy a reunion. Let’s welcome their performance with warm applause.
