Australia has made significant strides in formally recognizing the sentience of our animal friends. Established in 2010, the Farm Transparency Project (FTP) has become a prominent advocate for the rights of animal-citizens. During one of the events, film producer Mr. Chris Delforce delivered some inspiring words in his opening speech. “It is time for anyone who believes that we are capable of more as a nation and as a species to stand up and reach for it, no matter how hard you're pushed down, no matter how alone you may feel. Be the light, no matter how dark it may get, because when you stand on the right side of history, you are never alone.”

The Dominion Animal Rights March took place in various cities across Australia in April 2018. To commemorate the fifth anniversary of Dominion’s release, Farm Transparency Project (FTP) organized a peaceful Dominion Week of Action from April 2 to 8, 2023, aimed at shedding light on the realities endured by animal-people on Australian farms and slaughterhouses. Emma Hakansson, the founding director of Collective Fashion Justice, creates a significant portion of the organization's social, web, and campaign content. “We cannot be against violence sometimes, or against injustice sometimes. Every one of us here, together, we have the tools to dismantle a system that collectively hurts and kills.”

Anonymous for the Voiceless (AV) is a non-profit organization initially founded in 2016, in Melbourne, Australia. Volunteers of the Cube team, adorned with the highly recognizable Anonymous masks, stand in silence, holding TRUTH signs or devices playing graphic and powerful footage. This visual spectacle is designed to attract the public and prompt them to learn the truth about animal-people mistreatment. “Until this world turns into a paradise and is peaceful everywhere, our job’s not done. OK? Until the animal(-people) are free from suffering and respected as individual beings from God, our job is not done.”
